Manage Your Menstrual Cycle
Empowering. Fun. Real.
Let’s take the awkward out of period talk.
Flow & Glow is not your average info session—it’s a celebration of growing up, understanding our bodies, and creating open, confident conversations around periods.
✨ For Girls (Ideal for girls aged 11-14, but no age restrictions):
They’ll join an age-appropriate session filled with hands-on activities, movement, and real talk about what’s happening in their bodies—throughout the menstrual cycle, not just the week they bleed. Our education focuses more on how to support your menstrual cycle on a day to day basis-energy shifts, supporting your body through diet and exercise, and learning what's common vs normal. We provide information that girls can actually apply and understand. We don't focus on biology, anatomy or sexual health. The goal? Curiosity, comfort, and confidence.
Agenda: Introductions and Icebreakers.; Period 101: How long each phase is, energy levels during each phase, how to support.; Activity: Fun and engaging activity to get girls talking and comfortable. Plus: Make your own period kits!
✨ For Parents/Guardians:
Parents/guardians can either drop girls off, or are welcome to stay at the location, but will not be included in the event. There will be refreshments to enjoy and you can mingle amongst yourselves.
💬 Why It Matters:
78% of teens say they are taught more about the biology of frogs than the human female body in schools.
More than three quarters of teenagers have questions about their periods and want to have more open communication about their menstrual cycle.
81% of teens think we need more in depth education about menstrual health
(State of the period Statistics, 2023)
🚫 What it’s not:
This is not a medical seminar or a clinical presentation. We're not diving into detailed diagnoses or offering medical advice. Flow & Glow is about creating a safe, age-appropriate space where girls can feel curious, comfortable, and confident talking about their periods.
This is about real connection, playful learning, and creating memories together.
